This is a classic modern drop/release swing. It's a great aid in releasing the upper body while grounding you to the earth.
Notes
- The idea is to create a C curve in the spine. Ideally the ribs and pelvis should be aligned while the belly button pulls draws back to the spine.
- I like to think of being on a trampoline when executing this exercise. There's a spring in the legs, giving you a bouyancy that releases tension in the body.
