Terri Best "Floor Stretch in 2nd" - Lyrical Online Dance Class Exercise

This exercise opens the hips and stretches the hamstrings. As your arms and torso move through different positions, you will maintain a stable base, seated on the floor in 2nd position, and develop both core stability and increased flexibility.

Notes
  • Lengthen waist; feel a good separation between ribcage and hips.
  • Make sure legs don't turn in.
  • Make sure ribcage is stacked directly over hips in side stretch.
  • Keep left hip on floor when stretching right, and vice versa.
