This exercise focuses on warming up and strengthing eye movements and expressions. A fundamental aspect of bollywood, there are many directional movements of the eyes. This exercise will enable you to master this intricate fine muscle movement.

Notes
  • Look at the furthest point when doing this exercise - don't hold back.
  • Be aware of when you blink - you don't want to blink during the eye movement as this will interrupt the visual effectiveness and impact of the eye movement. Time up your blinks with the start or completion of the eye movement.
  • When looking down, find a point that is slightly ahead of your feet. Don't look directly at your toes as this will make your eyes look shut and sleepy.
  • Don't move your head when focusing on your eye movements. Head movements are a separate exercise that will be combined with eye movements at an advanced level. For this exercise make sure your head is steady and eye movements are practiced as an isolation.
