The flower and bunny, also known as Lotus and Deer, are Bharatnatyam hand gestures. This classical Indian style of dance is commonly incorporated in Bollywood movement.
Notes
- While in the flower position, energy shoots from all fingers creating a fan from the pinky to index finger with no bend in the wrist.
- While in the bunny position, elbows are up, shoulders are down, and hands are directly in front of the chest without touching each other.
- Both gestures are in done in a proper pulled up position with strong posture
- When transferring between the two hand gestures: Rotate the hands from bunny to flower and lead with the wrists from flower to bunny.
