This progression includes back and front attitude turns, and battements à la seconde. It is a good exercise for holding your center while turning whether your leg is front or back.
Notes
- Keep your knee up in the back attitude turn.
- Wrap your leg around the front in your front attitude turns - keep the supporting leg's side lifted, do not sit in your hip.
- Use the chassé to travel.
- Squeeze your inner thighs from the battement into the soutenu.
