We are so excited to officially welcome the gorgeous Mariah Spears to DancePlug. She's been featured on some of our tutorials before, as an assistant for Gina Starbuck; now, she'll be creating her own series of tutorials for you as our newest hip-hop and jazz funk instructor!
Originally from Arizona, Mariah has been training in dance since she was two years old. She's been educated in a variety of styles, including ballet, modern, jazz, hip hop, krump, popping, and breaking, and has worked with master teachers such as Chris Thomas from ABDC's Electrolytes, Phi from Jabbawockeez, and Rock Steady Crew. Mariah studied dance at Chapman University in Orange, California.
If you recognize her face, you're not alone, she was a top 16 featured performer on season 10 of "So You Think You Can Dance". She also teaches at a variety of dance studios in California, including Vision Dance Company and South Coast Conservatory.
