This exercise is a great way to start to get ready for fan kicks as well as using weight to make transitions.
Notes
- Make sure hip is over the supporting leg of the passé or the fan kick after the step step.
- Out of the passé of fan kick, think of the leg coming down like a ball bounces – quick and right back off the floor.
- On the cross unwind, use the back foot as a kickstand as you unwind and think of getting the last side of your body around to the front.
