This exercise will help you learn to use your core which is very important to your growth as a dancer especially in hip hop.
Notes
- Push your chest out and press your shoulder blades together. Breathe in and inflate your chest.
- Push your chest to the right and make a slight C shape between your rib cage and hips.
- Push your chest back. Imagine someone pulling a string from the center of your back.
- Push your chest to the left and make a slight C shape between your rib cage and hips.
- Once your get to the chest rotation just make sure you take your time and make a full circle.
- As you do the body roll make sure you fully roll through each vertabrae of your spine and then through the hips and finally end with a slight bend to the knees and then repeat.
