This advanced exercise will challenge dancers to keep their torso square through direction and level changes.
Notes
- Use deep plie throughout the exercise and travel steps as much as possible.
- Hit a strong jazz second line with the arms on the exit of the pirouette.
- Start to descend through a deep second and reach the supporting arm out for the traveling arm balance-work to float there.
- Really keep shoulders square on the ronde de jambe jump and really reach through your port de bras.
