This exercise is to root you and ground you. To help you understand how it feels to bounce and absorb the ground, while staying in the pocket.
Notes
- Start an easy bounce with only going to the balls of your feet, increasing power into a jump.
- Absorbing the impact by bending your knees and ankles.
- On an 8, of an 8 count of jumping stop so you feel the weight of the gravity hold you down.
- Then go into the basic step touch. don’t fight the bounce or the up and down and embrace the ground.
