Benjamin Allen "Step, Cross, Groove" - Hip-Hop Online Dance Class Exercise

We will be using this exercise to work on weight transfers and combining different arm variations. By combining these two moves together, we get a great foundation for a basic step that you can do a whole bunch of ways.

Notes
  • Note the weight transfer as you cross over your front foot.
  • Pay attention to your torso. It is going up (or slightly back) on each count. 
  • You should feel the opposition - upper body (torso) going away from your lower body (feet stepping).
  • Even with the different arms, you still want to match the accents (2,4,6,8) of the arms with the steps of the feet.
