Alexa De Barr- Started dancing at 5 years old where she trained at Coastal Dance Academy in Lewes, DE. She studied ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, and hip-hop. After various years of competing Alexa decided to further her technique by training at Central Delaware Dance Academy located an hour away in Dover, DE. Here she took classes 4 nights a week, and additionally rehearsed on weekends for the Delaware Ballet. After her senior year of high school she moved to New York City to attend a 2 year conservatory called AMDA. Alexa graduated from the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in 2011. From there she performed as a MainStage dancer for the Disney Fantasy cruise ship doing various shows for 8 months. Since credits include: Jersey Nights (Spirit Productions), Anything Goes (Arts Center of Coastal Carolina), International Tour of 'West Side Story", Singing In The Rain (ACCC), and is currently a featured performer in the new off-Broadway 60's musical 'Trip of Love' at Stage 42 in NYC! She dedicates all her success to her teachers, friends and family who have supported her throughout the years!
